How much does it cost to attend camp?

The Math Movement's summer camp will run four days per week from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm, with breakfast provided from 8:30 am - 9:30 am.

What supplies does my child need to bring everyday?

All necessary supplies are provided for every student at TMM. These include: notebook, paper, pencil, folder, and a t-shirt.

Does my child have to bring money for lunch / food?

We provide breakfast for students every morning. Students can either bring their lunch or bring money to buy lunch on campus. Once a week we have a Community Meal Day, at which TMM provides lunch.

When and where is The Math Movement's summer camp?

The Math Movement's summer camp in 2024 will be held from June 24-July 18 on the campus of Case Western Reserve University.

Who will be teaching my child?

Instruction comes from many directions in The Math Movement. High school Teaching Assistants work intensively with their middle school students, guided by college students as they explore mathematical ideas with their students. The senior staff who will be lecturing students include adults with an extensive range of teaching experience; we have middle and high school teachers, a professor of mathematics, a coding entrepreneur, and an economics researcher. Learn more about our instructors on our staff page.

We have a family trip scheduled that conflicts with the first day / week of TMM. Can my child be excused?

Our philosophy at TMM is that one cannot learn if one is not present. Therefore, absences due to family trips, vacations, conflicts with other programs, or similar cases are not excused.
